"KALAILE THUNGURAN PARRU MOOTHEVI" a Tamil sentence which brings the meaning of " look at this guy still sleep at the morning , MOOTHEVI"

Moothevi! How many of you have ever heard this word and considered it as a curse word in your daily life. Most likely Tamil people will use this word in their daily lives and bring negative connections about Moothevi. Well , nature has buried a tremendous answer to the question of who is the first God of the Hindu in the civilized Tamil society who worshiped the Lord in the presence of then Sangam Tamil . We have more and more of an ideas as to whether this is the first God on each of the statue or idols available when digging. Without going into the question of who is the first God , we will now come to the circle that we have forgotten that there is the Great  Grand God in Hindu society that is MOOTHEVI .

People say that she is lazy, she is useless and so on. Until now we do not know who destroyed the  meaning of Moothevi. Do you know ? she hides the pride of the Tamil and Hindu communities. She is considered a symbol of wealth and Moothevi is known by 14 names including "Chattai". Moreover, Moothevi was the mother goddess of the Tamil people in the 8th century when most of the sandals were ruled by the Pallavas. It is also said that the worship of Sattai (Moothevi) was better in the Cholan period later than in the Pallavas period mentioned in the inscription. Even Jainism also worships the great Moothevi. The Uthiramerur  inscription is also states that King Chitrarasan Parthivendravarma of Thondai country donated 1148 acres as a gift to the Sataiyaar Temple (Moothevi temple). Sculptures were found in the 8th century in Tamil Nadu and there are many Moothevi temples during the Sangam period mentioned in the inscription. The archaeological department of Tamil Nadu was found  the temple of god Moothevi in ​​Palani year 2010.  

There is also a myth where they will go if told in mythology , in the Puranas it is said that Moothevi appeared before Thirumakal when Thirumal crossed the ocean Milk . This may even be the basis of the philosophy of prosperity of ancient Tamil people . Sad truth is Moothevi is not worshiped in the name of Taavai or Moothevi but isntead in the name of Jysetha Devi . This Moothevi more worship by the North Indian people as Jysetha Devi and she is also worshiped as one of the forces in the Tantric traditions of North Indias known as the reincarnation of Bhoomathevi ( Earth God) . Moreover , ancient Tamil people have made the Moothevi sculpture based on their knowledge but in some time one has made this Moothevi a bad sign based on the appearance of the sculpture shows she's not good looking .

When the people who lived for food today began to live for money is the word shows thats people is a deity . Fools think that God should only worship in beautiful statues , thus Moothevi begins to be forgotten day by day. When, people think money is everything then, goddess Lakshmi became the most trusted god among the Indians until today and moothevi became an insulting word among the Tamil community.
